4/2003: Timo doing Nordic walking on the mountains behind the James Cook University in Townsville
The village that you can see down in the walley is Douglas. There is our rental home. We moved to Townsvile on January 13th 2003. Nancy got a job in the hospital as an occupational therapist.

Kitchen. The wooden dish rack/shelving is planned and assembled by time using ready made dish rack and pine shelving.
We had arrived to Townsville in mid January from Sydney where we were staying in friends' house until our cats were released from quarantine.

March 2003 we took a dog. She was for sale in a garage sale. Bluey is red heeler, ie. Australian cattle dog. She loves swimming. We went to swim in the Ross river of Townsville.
Everything is exotic for us here ...
Nancy was working as an occupational therapist. One of her patients is a cattle farmer. He invited us to visit him near Charters Towers. In September it was so dry there.

Possum mother with her baby visited us. They were eating in the bird feeding place. Our Kitti cat used to sit under the tree and just look at the possums.
Lolitha cat in the backyard. For the first time in their life, our cats Kitti and Lolitha could go out, smell the grass, climb trees.

December 6th 2003. Townsville Finnish community and some visiting guests were celebrating Finland's independence day in Thai-Thai restaurant.

Before going to Townsville we visited Nowra NSW. A distant relative to Timo is living there with his family.
