We spent the day in Magnetic Island hiking.
More and more dry. Nothing to eat for the cows.
Timo went bush walking...
All around the house was pastures for the owner's cattle.
Bluey has some dingo in her.
In winter June-August it was cold enough to grow roses.
We also were growing tomatoes. though often cows came and ate everything.
The owner mounted new windows in the kitchen. It became so much lighter when light could come in through the modern glass.
 
 
  They also mounted screen doors.
Townsville Bulleting published picture of Nancy with her colleague Jane in February 2003. 17 months later Jane passed away after about 6 months battle against colon cancer.

This picture is from April 2003 in a Finnish home in Townsville. Finnish Lutheran priest was visitng the town and he conducted a little service in the home of Pentti and Liisa Jokisalo.
Timo used to go and mow their lawn. Pentti loved talking and Timo was listening to him. Pentti got very sick soon after Timo learned to know him. He spent long times in hospital. In october 2004 he passed away.
The olympic games were in Athens this year and paralympics shortly after that. In paralympics there was a friend of ours attending. Azman Yosuf is in the picture here with in. It was taken in Changi airport Singapore in November 2002.
Timo's granduncle passed away on the day of Pentti's funeral. Timo had visited him and his wife 10 months before he came to Singapore.
We got a girlfriend for our Elvis duck because he was too interested in chicken. We had to separate him completetly from them because he was harassing too much, and the roosters didn't like it at all.
